Our Microsurgical Gum Restoration
With the microsurgical gum correction, recessed gums can be reconstructed. Using magnifying glasses or surgical microscope, the gums can usually be reproduced in a harmonious way. For this purpose, small tissue portions of other areas of the oral mucosa are transplanted by microsurgery. The microsurgical gum correction corrects problems with exposed tooth necks and effectively counteracts the decline in fine gum dips between the teeth called papillae.
This method, also known as aesthetic gum correction, is performed on us with gentle local anesthesia and is painless for the patient. Even after dental implants have been used, this treatment is often and successfully.
